Installing Theme

Appearance > Themes
Next, click on the Add New

Click "Upload Theme"

And look for the file with the theme on your PC

If the topic is not activated then go Appearance > Themes
And click active

PHP error

Error "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected"
Solution: you need to change the php version on your hosting. Minimal version 5.4. You can change it in the settings of your hosting.

Theme Wizard Installation

When you first install the theme you'll see the Wizard guide installation.It will help you to install theme easy.Please follow these steps:

Theme License Activation

If you skip the Wizard setup or after the demo content installation your theme is deactivated - you need to activate your theme license.
Please go to the Medina Dashboard and insert your purchase code in the field and click "Activate". Your purchase code you can find HERE

Problems with the Theme License Activation

In some reasons you can have problems with the Theme activation:
1) "Purchase code is wrong" - check that you activate the main theme (not the child). After go Theme Options->License, insert you purchase code (check that it hasn't spaces after (you can mistake copy it with)), click "Save" and wait 5-7 sec. After that, click "Register the code". Some servers have delay and waiting 5-7 sec. solve this problem.
2) "Something wrong, please try later" - that's mean that you need to try to activate your license later because Envato license system is not active at the moment. It happens very seldom, but if after 1 hour you'll have the same notice, please contact our support team via support form from your ThemeForest account.

Installing Theme Plugins

When you first install the theme you'll see a popup on your dashboard from the theme asking you to install a number of plugins.

Allow the theme to install these for you. The plugins which are installed are dependent of the theme, the images below are for illustrative purposes only.

TIP - You can install all plugins at the same time by checking the box at the top of the this list, see below for an example.

Once done (the process should take no more than a few minutes) You will see a confirmation notice similar to the image below.

Installing demo content

NOTICE: Before the Demo Content Installation you need to activate your Theme License Read more

NOTICE: After the demo content installation you need to reactivate your Theme License because it can be rewritten by the demo content.

Go to Tools > Demo content install

Error Execution Failed

Error "Execution Failed. Maximum execution time of _ seconds exceeded"
Solution: you need to increase the php parameter: max_execution_time to 400-600 sec. You can change in the php settings of your hosting.

Initial Theme Setup

Ok, so far we have installed the theme, we have installed the plugins and imported the demo data, whats next?

The final step in getting your new theme setup and ready for you to edit as you wish is to setup your home page and menu. To begin, head to Settings > Reading, here you will need to set your Front Page.

By default WP is set to show your latest posts, however to make your theme just like our demo you should select a static front page from the pages provided in the demo data.

Theme settings

Go to Appearance > Theme Settings

General

Logo text – this text will be displayed if the logo will not be loaded
Upload alternative logo – alternate logo, for example, to display a white logo on a dark background in the footer
Preloader – on / off site preloader
Maximum Page Width – the maximum width of the central unit
Custom JavaScript – the introduction of a custom js code
Custom CSS - the introduction of a custom style
